Koski v. RNC
The Virginia Supreme Court permitted the legislature’s proposed amendment to redraw the state’s congressional map to proceed to a vote, staying a trial court’s temporary restraining order against officials moving forward with the election. The state high court said it was not assessing the merits of the plaintiffs’ challenges to the legislature’s process for the amendment and judicial review of the amendment’s validity may ocurr if and when it is approved by voters.
