Ruled that state constitutional and statutory provisions required a concurrence of only ten jurors for acquittal for offenses committed before January 1, 2019. In a separate concurrence, Justice Griffin stated that in allowing for nonunanimous acquittals, the Louisiana Constitution grants greater rights protection than the federal constitution.
