State of Washington v. Gator's Custom Guns
Washington Supreme Court reversed a lower court and upheld the state's ban on selling or manufacturing magazines that hold more than ten rounds of ammunition. The majority held that large-capacity magazines are “not” arms within the scope of the state or federal constitutional right to bear arms, and the ability to purchase them is not "necessary to the realization of the core right to possess a firearm in self-defense."
LeMieux v. Evers
The Wisconsin Supreme Court held, in a divided decision, that the governor did not exceed his partial veto authority under the state constitution when he altered digits, words, and punctuation in a budget bill to extend a school funding increase from 2 to 402 years.
Griffin v. State Board of Elections
A candidate for a seat on the North Carolina Supreme Court, who lost by over 700 votes, claims that the state board of elections followed an incorrect process for registering voters and seeks to invalidate more than 60,000 votes.

Ruled that challenge to governor's appointment of a judge as untimely was nonjusticiable as the only other official with appointment power, the chief justice, accepted the appointment
Rozenblit v. Lyles
Ruled that agreement between school district and education association authorizing teachers to work on the association's business does not violate gift clause requiring public money is used for public purposes
State v. Halverson
Ruled that self-incrimination clause does not support per se rule treating all incarcerated individuals as "in custody"
Feldman v. Salt Lake City Corp.
Ruled that statute limiting landowners' liability for personal injury did not violate constitution's wrongful death clause
Convent Corp. v. City of North Little Rock
Allowed nightclub’s as-applied due process and takings challenges to proceed as to condemnation ordinance and procedures
In re Palmer
Ruled habeas relief was available to inmate whose continued incarceration had become constitutionally excessive after parole denials, but parole term remained valid after release
State v. Pittman
Ruled that state may only compel a defendant to unlock a phone if the state has a warrant, already knows the information the act of unlocking would communicate, and cannot use that act against the defendant
Casiano v. State
Ruled that when a defendant has completed an erroneously imposed sentence, possibility of a future sentencing enhancement is not a sufficient collateral legal consequence to permit exercise of judicial power
Butler v. Parks
Ruled assigned counsel lacked standing to assert constitutional rights of unidentified indigent defendants to a fair trial and effective assistance of counsel, and state immunity bars monetary relief
Commonwealth v. Middaugh
Ruled that a license suspension which is unreasonably delayed through no fault of the driver may violate due process provision, but required showing of prejudice
