Original action filed with the Wisconsin Supreme Court alleging sherriffs who honored immigration detainer requests, holding individuals in jail beyond when they would otherwise be released under state law to give ICE time to take them into custody, acted outside the scope of their arresting authority. The court has not yet decided whether to accept the case.
